bun.Image.fromClipboard

static fromClipboard(): null | Image;

Read an image from the system clipboard.

Returns a Bun.Image wrapping whatever container the clipboard holds (PNG, TIFF, HEIC, JPEG, BMP, …); call metadata, resize, etc. as usual. null if no image is present.

  • macOS: NSPasteboard
  • Windows: registered "PNG" / CF_DIBV5 / CF_DIB
  • Linux: always null (use wl-paste/xclip and pass the bytes to new Bun.Image(...))
